Modern music technology has completely changed the way in which high-quality recordings are made.
Professional-grade gear and recording methods that were once exclusively available to commercial studios can now be assembled in nearly any space imaginable and used by musicians of all skill levels.
With so many options available to you and your students, we understand that incorporating this kind of technology into your existing program may seem intimidating. With our 20+ years combined experience in the music industry and in the classroom, we will help you develop practical and effective ways of using recording technology in both general music and ensemble settings.

For students in your program who are interested in developing their skills as recording artists, live performers, or are eagerly looking for ways to spark their courage and confidence, our educational outreach program provides an interactive student workshop focusing on contemporary performance and the recording process. Students walk away with professionally edited, mixed, and mastered recordings, piano rehearsal files custom made in the key of their choosing, and social media content ready to be shared on various platforms.
In addition to our interactive workshop, we also offer masterclasses on auditioning for professional productions, collegiate music programs, and televised singing competitions.
Student Testimonials
“Listening to my recording felt surreal. It was an amazing experience, especially when you have people willing to go the extra mile for you. Hearing the outcome of the recording process and seeing how hard Ms. Lagasca worked to put this all together for the students was very eye-opening. As a student in Newark, NJ we are not guaranteed special things. Because of this, it’s amazing to see people like Ms. Lagasca and Mr. Bosco who provide for us what we deserve as young vocalists. This is what makes my recording so special. I’m only human, and I have insecurities in my voice, but the ability to hear myself sing and proudly say ‘Yes, that is me’ is an empowering experience. This whole process is something I will never forget.”
-Estefany, Grade 12
“For years, I disliked singing. Just listening to my own voice made my skin crawl. Being a vocal major at a performing arts high school and not liking my voice made the first few years miserable. When Ms. Lagasca came in, she gave me an opportunity I had never been exposed to before. She made me feel comfortable and supported during my coaching and like a professional singer while I was recording. When I listened to my recording for the first time, I became very emotional and started crying. For the first time, I was proud of myself and enjoyed listening to my voice.”
-Mandy, Grade 12
Custom Studio Consultations
Every music program has different needs; some of us need a space to solely record high-quality vocals while others require a more complex setup to record instrumentals. In any case, the process of deciding what gear to buy in the crowded online marketplace (and discerning what gear will actually serve you) can be overwhelming. That’s where we come in. Book a studio consultation with Ambitious Music and let’s talk about your school’s current or prospective program. After we have a clear vision of your needs and budget, we will provide you with a custom gear list tailored to your specific program and designed to fit into your classroom or designated studio space.
The difference between us and your average sales representative is that we are not beholden to any company. We have no quotas to fill, and no compensation to be made from referring a particular brand to you. What you receive is a fully transparent, professional consultation without an agenda.
For clients in the Greater New York City area, we offer on-site professional installation.
