“Ambitious Music is helping fill the technology gaps in music education. Their experience with recording, mixing tracks, and applying technology in the classroom is clearly conveyed in their lecture series, which goes above and beyond expectations.”

-Samantha Ferrara, Private Voice Teacher

Our Mission

As educators, we understand that the COVID-19 pandemic was incredibly challenging for students and teachers. It was also a difficult time for independent artists, many of whom were forced to record their music at home and face the challenge of being their own engineer.

In response to the pandemic, we offered virtual seminars at a discounted rate that focused on creating the best home recordings possible. With the educator, student, and artist in mind, we tailored these courses to cover the specific skills needed to become more confident in your music production.

Given the success of those seminars, we continue to offer them today.

As a bonus for participating, you will receive 30% off any Artist Service for your first project with us. We also provide certificates to any educator in need of required documented professional development hours.

We currently accept payment through Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and other online payment applications. Participants will be sent a Zoom Meeting invitation to their specific session(s) once payment is processed.

Music Technology Seminars

SESSION 1

sTUDiO ESSENTIALS

Starting a quarantine-inspired home studio? In this two-hour seminar, we explain the essential components of building a fully functioning recording studio at any budget. Topics include selecting the best microphone for your needs, interfaces, headphones & studio monitors, identifying the myriad cables that connect these things together, and creating a soundproof recording space with materials you already have at home.

SESSION 2

Mixing BASICS

After building your studio, learn how to bring out the best in your music. We will discuss how to EQ vocals, mix multi-track projects, and select the right plugins to enhance your tracks. This two-hour seminar also covers essential skills such as syncing audio files, tempo & volume automation, and restoring home recordings for virtual choirs and performances.

All participants will receive raw vocal files to practice with and to create a small virtual choir, as well as personal feedback directly from instructors through separately scheduled one-on-one Zoom meetings.
